Frequently asked questions.

Are the roads actually that twisty?

Heads up, riders — the roads to Mid-Atlantic Moto Camp are twisty, spaghetti-on-a-plate twisty. Mother Nature (and local road planners) did not hold back. Watch for gravel, farm access points, and deer with zero concept of right-of-way. Ride smart, stay sharp, and make it through the curves in one piece to tell the tale.

The tickets are confusing- why are there so many kinds?

Natural Chimneys Park is managed by Augusta County, which limits the number of structures per site. To make the most of the space, we offer discounted rates for campers who share a tent or use a hammock. We’ve reserved a large, secluded section that can host several hundred riders, and this approach helps us maximize space, build community, and keep registration costs lower—welcoming more campers into the fun.

  • If you have questions about exactly what type of tickets you need, fill out the contact form, and we’ll get right back to you!

I identify as non-binary or transgender- is this event for me?

This event is designed with women in mind, and “for womxn” is how we describe who it’s geared toward. We trust each person to decide if this space feels right for them. What matters most is that all women—including trans women—are respected, honored, and safe throughout the event. If that aligns with your identity and what you’re seeking, you’re welcome to join us.

How remote is the campground?

Remote enough to feel like you’ve escaped the world, but not so remote you need survival skills. There’s a camp store with firewood on site, plus a gas station and convenience store less than half a mile away. For more options, Bridgewater and Staunton are both within a 30-minute ride.

Will there be men present?

In short: the campers and organizers will all be womxn. That said, campground staff, a few bearded vendors, or the occasional passerby may wander through. We ask everyone to keep basic social norms in mind—feel free to be comfortable, but please wear at least a minimal amount of clothing when out and about. Let’s keep the event safe, welcoming, and free of any unexpected wildlife sightings for the locals.

What’s the food situation?

Fear not—you won’t be surviving on granola dust and a dream. We’ve lined up breakfast and dinner vendors each day, so you can roll out of your tent and grab a coffee or meal on your way to morning yoga! Multiple dinner options will be available for purchase.

As for Saturday lunch? That’s a choose-your-own-adventure. Most folks will be out riding, exploring, and finding whatever grub calls their name. Bottom line: no one will be hangry.

What vendors should i expect?

We’re teaming up with local businesses to bring a solid mix of goodies to camp. Expect a little bit of everything, including food vendors, a local tattoo shop on-site offering flash tattoos, and (fingers crossed) some incredible artisans showing off their craft.

Can I bring my pet?

We love furry friends, but only trained service animals are allowed to join the fun. Think of it as their VIP pass — pawsitively exclusive!

Can I bring my daughter?

While we understand that this event will provide a valuable and eye opening perspective into what it means to be a strong woman and build sisterhood, this event is only for womxn 18 and over.

How will I know what campsite I’m at?

Campsites are first come, first serve. Don’t worry though; this is a large space and there will be plenty of room for you and your crew to stay together!
